東京レインボープライド2022 開催とテーマ決定のお知らせ/ Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2022 - Announcement and Theme

NPO法人東京レインボープライド（共同代表:杉山文野、山田なつみ) は、日本最大級のLGBTQ関連イベント「東京レインボープライド2022」（以下TRP2022）の開催について、開催日程とテーマが決まりましたのでお知らせいたします。

【東京レインボープライド2022開催日程】
◆プライドパレード＆プライドフェスティバル(代々木公園開催予定)：
　2022年4月22日（金）～2022年4月24日（日）3日間開催
　※プライドパレードは2022年4月24日(日)を予定しております。
　※新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止のため、入場制限などを行う場合があります。

◆プライドマンスイベント
　プライドカンファレンス (オフライン予定)：
　2022年6月3日（金）

　おうちでプライド2022 (タイトル仮・オンライン)：
　2022年6月25日(土)～2022年6月26日(日)

　※プライドマンス期間：2022年6月1日（水）～2022年6月30日（木）

新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大に伴い、TRP2020、TRP2021はオンラインイベントのみの開催といたしましたが、来年は、3年ぶりに代々木公園にて「プライドパレード＆プライドフェスティバル」を開催いたします。さらに、6月の世界的なプライドマンスに合わせてオフライン、オンラインにて主催イベントを予定しております。

引き続き予断を許さない状況ではありますが、感染症対策を徹底し、ご参加いただく皆さまの健康面・安全を第一に考慮した上で運営していく所存です。

また、東京レインボープライド2022のテーマは下記に決定いたしました。

繋がる、見える、変わる

私たちは様々なつながりの中で生きている

ニューノーマルな世界で
つながり方は多様になった
つながる自由
つながらない自由も手に入れた
物理的につながらなくても
想いを分かち合えるようになった

会えないことで見えてきた
大切なこと
変化を求めても
変わらない現実

良いことも悪いことも見えてきた今だからこそ
自分の未来のために意思を示そう

声をあげること
発信すること
あゆみを止めないこと

私たちの未来は繋がることで動き出す

＜テーマ決定の背景＞
２年間のコロナ禍での生活を送る中で、様々な方法で繋がることができる時代になりました。繋がり方の多様化、繋がることの選択肢が増えたことで、お互いの関係性や本来の自分、また自分を取り巻く社会が見えてきたという点では良い変化があった一方で、物理的な繋がりを持てずに孤独や孤立を感じる方も増えています。
大きな声にかき消されてしまう声なき声、そして声をあげても変わらないルールなど、依然として多くの問題が存在している現実もより明確に見えてきました。

繋がりの中から見えてきたものがあるからこそ、これからの時代のために、声をあげていくこと、発信をすることで、LGBTQだけではなく、すべての人が安心して安全に生きていける世界に変わっていく、そんな未来を実現するためにこのテーマを掲げました。

開催にあたっては、政府機関・東京都のガイドラインを遵守し、ご参加いただく皆さまの安全を重視した運営を行っていく所存です。

企業向け説明会、ボランティア説明会など順次、詳細をお知らせいたします。
これからも「らしく、たのしく、ほこらしく」をモットーに、性的指向および性自認にかかわらず、すべての人がより自分らしく誇りをもって、前向きに楽しく生きていくことができるHAPPY!な社会の実現に向け、イベントを通して「“性”と“生”の多様性」を祝福し、つながる「場」を提供いたします。

Tokyo Rainbow Pride (co-chairs: Fumino Sugiyama and Natsumi Yamada) is pleased to announce the dates and theme for Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2022 (TRP2022), one of the largest LGBTQ-related events in Japan.

Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2022 Schedule

Pride Parade & Pride Festival:
Festival - Friday, April 22, 2022 - Sunday, April 24, 2022 (3 days, Yoyogi Park)
Pride Parade - Sunday, April 24, 2022.
Depending on circumstances, admission may be restricted to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Pride Month (Wednesday, June 1, 2022 - Thursday, June 30, 2022) Events:
Pride Conference (currently scheduled offline): June 3, 2022 (Friday)
Pride at Home 2022 (tentative title, online): June 25, 2022 (Saturday) - June 26, 2022 (Sunday)

Due to the spread of COVID-19 in the past two years, TRP2020 and TRP2021 had been held solely online, but for the first time in three years, we hope to hold the Pride Parade and Pride Festival in person and in Yoyogi Park once again. We will also be hosting other offline and online events in June to coincide with the global Pride Month.

However the situation remains unpredictable. We will continue to monitor the situation and take all precautions necessary against the current pandemic and to ensure the health and safety of all participants.

We are also pleased to announce the theme for Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2022.

Change the Future Together

Capitalize on Connections

There are countless ways to connect
In this new normal world -
Regardless of whether we wish to or not -
As we still share our thoughts and feelings
Even if we are not physically together.

There are matters, some quite important, we have come to see
Because we can not meet.
And while we all want change,
There are times we don’t want to see change either.

But now that we can see both the good and the bad,
Let's make our intentions clear, for our future selves.

Let’s raise our voices,
Speak up,
And never stop moving forward.

Our future can only start changing when we are all connected.

＜Background Info＞
In the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have come to realize that we can connect to each other in so many ways. Our relationships have diversified. The ways we choose to stay together have grown many fold. We can now be, and see ourselves and our relationships as they really are. But while we have seen positive change in the way society perceives us, there has also been a growing number of people who have become lonely and isolated due to a lack of physical contact. Equally, it has become clearer that many problems still exist because the voices of the voiceless are being drowned out by the louder ones, and many “rules” remain unchanged even though we had raised our voices against them.

Thus this year’s theme is brought about thanks to these new insights into our new connections and for this new era and a future where by speaking out and raising awareness, we can change society, not only for the LGBTQ community, but for all people to live happily and in safety.

In holding this event, we will be complying with the government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government safety guidelines. This event will be managed with an emphasis on the safety of all participants.

More details are to be announced in due course, including information sessions for companies and volunteers.

In accordance with the Tokyo Rainbow Pride motto of "be true to yourself, joyful, and proud," we continue to celebrate the “diversity of sexuality and life" through our events, providing a place for all to connect, with the aim of realizing a brighter society where all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live their lives positively and happily, and with pride.
